KnowMycotoxins is a website which aims to help you better understand the growing mycotoxin problem in the feed industry.

Mycotoxins are compounds produced by moulds and affect everyone. In 1985 the World Health Organization estimated that approximately 25% of the world's grains were contaminated by mycotoxins. This figure has most certainly grown since then due to an increase in global import and export of grains and cereals and the changing environmental and weather patterns.

Regardless of your level of involvement in the agricultural industry whether you are a producer, nutritionist or veterinarian, being aware and understanding the threat posed by mycotoxins will ultimately have an impact on your animal's health and your bottom line. This website will help you increase your knowledge on mycotoxins, how they are produced, their impact on animals, issues with feed sampling and possible strategies to maintain your animal's health and performance.
