The Conference is dedicated to the different fields of plant pathology, including control strategies. The different sessions of the congress will cover applied and basic research and provide an opportunity for plant pathologists coming from different Mediterranean Countries to exchange knowledge, to develop co-operative research, renew old acquaintances and make new ones. The Conference will be held in Rome which is considered a with ancient monuments and medieval and Renaissance buildings and fountains. A special meeting tour in Rome, considered a living museum of history, is planned at the end of the scientific sessions which will include a trip through some lovely areas located near the city as well as a conference dinner.
