Follow-up of the MycoKey GA2017
The first MycoKey General Assembly has been held in Bari at Oriente Hotel from 14 to 17 March, 2017.
The project’s partners presented the progress of the activities performed in the first project year. The international platea was composed by scientific institutions, universities, organizations, food industries and producers’associations.
External experts have also met for the first time to give suggestions and make a preliminary review of the project, in order to support the Consortium in providing successful results to the final users.

Many appointments have been set for the current year, to involve food safety researchers and players, including:
– The MycoKey kick off meeting Chinese project in Bejing, China from 5 to 8 June 2017
– The MycoKey International Conference from 11 to 14 September 2017, in Ghent, Belgium. During the conference DLO (Wageningen) will present the first release of the MycoKey App. The conference is being organized in cooperation with MyToolBox project.
– The ISM-MycoKey Training course Rapid methods for mycotoxin detection in the food chain from 9 to 13 October, 2017 in Bari, Italy. CNR is the organizer of this training course addressed to 20 young researchers and food technologists.
– The MycoKey Training Course 2017 Strategies for minimization of mycotoxins and toxigenic fungi in food chains from 16 to 19 October, 2017 in Bari, Italy. CNR is the organizer of this training course addressed to 20 young researchers and mycologists.
